Daniel User was infused with dark matter by the cosmic cube. It was deep inside him, and to channel the dark matter the original Captain Super gave up his belt which contained an emblem of immense power. Daniel became the modern and current captain super. Captain Super Founded the League of heroes to defend the Universe when he couldn't alone.
